Getting Started Checklist

Follow this step-by-step guide to set up Meridian Ultra quickly and confidently.

1. Upload or Install the Theme

Go to Online Store → Themes and either upload your TileAds ZIP file or install Meridian Ultra from the Theme Store.

2. Load the Meridian Ultra Preset

Open the theme editor and apply the default Meridian Ultra preset to load recommended styles, colours and layout foundations.

3. Add Your Brand Colours & Typography

Under Theme settings → Colors and Typography, set your brand palette and choose readable sans-serif fonts like Montserrat.

4. Add Your Homepage Sections

Use the modular layout to add a hero banner, featured collections, marquee, editorial blocks, testimonials, blog posts and more.

5. Set Up Your Product Pages

Add product descriptions, size guides, images, variant options and materials. Meridian Ultra supports high-res galleries and media.

6. Configure Store Settings

Check Navigation, Shipping, Payments, Policies and Checkout customisation to ensure everything is ready to sell.

7. Publish Meridian Ultra

When ready, return to Online Store → Themes, click the … menu and publish your theme.

Meridian Ultra – Theme documentation

A premium Shopify theme crafted for modern pet brands and storytelling-led ecommerce. Use this page as a quick guide to setup, styling and support.

Meridian Ultra is a premium Shopify theme crafted for modern pet brands, lifestyle products and editorial ecommerce.

It’s fully compatible with Online Store 2.0, supports sections on every page and balances storytelling with clean, conversion-friendly layouts.

Use Meridian Ultra to create a polished storefront with full-width imagery, refined typography, flexible content sections and a fast, mobile-optimised experience.

Install Meridian Ultra

You can install the theme from the Shopify Theme Store or by uploading a .zip file supplied by TileAds.

  • Go to Online Store → Themes in your Shopify admin.
  • Click Add theme from Theme Store or Upload theme if you have the file.
  • Once added, Meridian Ultra appears in your theme library.

Publish the theme

  • In Online Store → Themes, find Meridian Ultra.
  • Click the … menu and choose Publish.
  • Confirm to make Meridian Ultra your live theme.

You can customise everything in the editor before you publish.

Colours

Open Theme settings → Colors to style Meridian Ultra for your brand. Recommended starting palette:

  • Accent 1 (primary buttons): #082448
  • Accent 2 (playful highlight): #3AA69E
  • Button label: #FFFFFF
  • Text: #0B0909
  • Background 1: #FAFAF9

Keep text dark for accessibility and use one strong accent colour for key actions.

Typography

Under Theme settings → Typography, choose modern, readable fonts. A great pairing is a bold sans serif for headings (such as Montserrat) and a clean sans serif for body text.

The Meridian marquee announcement section adds subtle moving text similar to high-end brand sites.

Add the marquee

  • Open the theme editor and select your home page template.
  • Click Add section and choose Meridian marquee announcement.
  • Drag it near the top of the page.

Configure messages

In the section settings, use || to separate lines, for example:

Free shipping over $75 || New arrivals for dogs and cats || Premium pet essentials

You can also adjust scroll speed, font size and colours to match your palette.

Home page layout

The home page is fully modular. Common sections include:

  • Full-width hero banner with your main call-to-action.
  • Featured collections for Dogs, Cats, Accessories, etc.
  • Featured products for best sellers and new arrivals.
  • Editorial image-with-text blocks for brand storytelling.
  • Testimonials, blog posts and newsletter signup.

Product pages

Product templates support high-resolution imagery, zoom behaviour, video, variant pickers, pickup availability and product recommendations.

For pet products, include sizing guides, care instructions and ingredients or materials where relevant.

Why doesn’t my store look like the demo?

Make sure you are using the Meridian Ultra preset or a layout similar to the demo. Check that you have added sections like the hero, marquee, featured collections and editorial content, and that real products and images are assigned.

Can I use the theme for non-pet brands?

Yes. The demo is pet-focused, but the layout works for lifestyle, home, beauty, services and more. Swap imagery, copy and collections to match your niche.

Where can I change logo and colours?

In the theme editor, open the Header section for your logo, and Theme settings → Colors for your palette.
